Fry’s – FREE Aussie Shampoo, Conditioner, Styler

Okay gang…there weren’t too many promos in this Wednesday’s grocery ads, but FREE Aussie doesn’t come around too often..not even at CVS or Walgreen’s.  Get this before Tuesday night, and try Aussie’s products, if you’ve never used them.  Here’s the deal:

Aussie Shampoo, Conditioner, or Styler– Fry’s (which is also Kroger, Ralph’s, Smiths and King Soopers) currently has Aussie for FREE.  Fry’s currently has this on sale for 1.99 when you buy 4 Proctor and Gamble items.  There is a $2.00 coupon on the Fry’s E-Saver (www.pgesaver.com), making this FREE.

Here’s how ESaver works.  Go to http://www.pgesaver.com.  Create a log in/password.  Link your Fry’s card (and any other cards you have that P&G accepts, such as Safeway, Albertsons, etc.)  When you hear about a “Mix and Match” event, or a “10 Item Mega Event”, or any other sale that involves Proctor and Gamble items, go to this site, and link your needed/wanted P&G items to the store card that currently has the saleDon’t load these onto your a card ahead of time, as you can’t “undo” and move them to another card.  (I learned this the hard way).

Here are some of the other P&G sale items where you can attach an “ESaver” coupon to your card as well, so you can stack your deal and save money at Fry’s before Tuesday!!

Tampax, 20 ct.-Sale price is $1.99.  ESaver Coupon is $0.50.
Puffs Facial Tissue– Sale price is $0.69 each.  ESaver Coupon is for $0.25 off three boxes.

Secret Deodorant- Sale price is $2.00.  Coupon is actually in the P&G Sunday insert for $1.00 in Week A (Week 27).

Walgreen’s – Free Bayer Contour and Breeze 2 Monitors

Well, Walgreen’s hasn’t had too much for free lately since they did away with their rebate program a few months ago.  I haven’t heard anything new coming out to replace the program anytime soon, either, which is disappointing.

And–with it being “end of the month”–we’re probably lucky to get the monitors.  As you all know, being able to donate diabetes monitors to those in need is one of my biggest passions….and it hasn’t stopped.  I’ve found a new non-profit to donate the monitors to…and I’m thrilled to be working with them.  Two weeks ago, I was able to take a tour of this worthy cause, and actually SEE these monitors land right into the hands of those who need them.  Mission of Mercy (http://www.amissionofmercy.org) is a 501 (c)3 here in Phoenix that provides free medical care to anyone who needs it….  No questions asked.  They take absolutely NO funding from the U.S. Government either, so they have complete control over where the money needs to go….a LOT of it goes into Diabetes Medication for those they serve.  Check them out at the link above, and you’ll see why I’m so jazzed about being able to help them out.

Bayer Contour or Bayer Breeze 2 Diabetes MonitorsThis week, Walgreen’s has these on sale for $14.99.  There are TWO ways you can get them for free….First:  Our Sunday paper coupon inserts have coupons that are good for a price of up to $30.00, thus being able to get them for FREE.  Coupon locations are:  Week E (Week 5 RedPlum Insert), Week L (Week 12, SmartSource Insert), and  Week Q (Week 17, RedPlum Insert).
***If you don’t get the Sunday paper (or have used all your coupons), there are rebates in the box that can simply be mailed in for a 100% refund…how awesome is that?  Folks around Phoenix have sent me close to 50 coupons, so I’ll be spending my week getting as many as I can, as the coupons expire on the 31st.

Oh..and if you haven’t entered our Sizzlin’ Summer Survey Giveaway (or whatever it is our marketing team called it), please enter now!  The first 25 will get a free copy of my book, and all completed entries will go into a drawing for a $100 Restaurant.com gift certificate.  Info. is below….

Starbuck’s Ice Cream Cups  – These are WAY yummy.  Currently Basha’s has them on sale for $1.25, and the coupon in Week Y (Week 25) of the SmartSource Insert is for $2.00.  Make sure that you purchase something  small to absorb the extra $0.75, so you won’t lose the money….

Walgreens – FREE Posture-D Calcium, Freestyle Lite Monitor

Walgreens is a bit slow to keep up this week, so I can’t imagine that they’ll be busy with all the free stuff at CVS this week.  Looks like the insiders didn’t have their meeting to ensure they were offering similar deals!

Posture-D Calcium Caplets – Found in the vitamins area, in a bright orange box, they’re pretty easy to find.  You’ll pay the sale price of $8.99, but you’ll get a Register Reward for $8.99 to use on your next Walgreen’s purchase.

Freestyle Lite Blood Glucose Monitor– These will be free after the Mail-In Rebate.  They are on sale for $19.99, and there are two coupons out there for $9.99.  Locations of the coupons are in Week A (Week 1) of this year in the SmartSource Insert, and Week T (Week 20) of the SmartSource Insert as well.  You’ll pay $10.00, but send in the MIR and they will mail you a check.

Please purchase and donate these either to your local American Diabetes office OR the nearest homeless shelter.  Some of the ADA offices are guiding you to a local shelter where they can go IMMEDIATELY to those in need of these monitors to assist with health of the homeless.  THANK YOU for your support!  (I usually wait until I have 5-10 because I buy these whenever they are free–then make a run to the ADA office or the shelter they point me to.)

CVS – FREE Band-Aids, Colgate, Revlon Nail, Playtex, Speedstick

For those of you who have never learned how to shop at CVS, this is a must for anyone trying to save money.  With their ExtraBucks program, you can’t lose, getting FREE stuff every week!  This week is great, as there are quite a few deals out there…..OH and DON’T FORGET to scan your card when you walk into the store, as you might get FREE ExtraBucks to use toward this purchase!  They’ve been pretty generous this week, so take advantage of it!

Johnson & Johnson Band-Aid Bandages– GET TWO OF THESE FREE!!  Sale price is $2.99.  Coupons are for $1.00 each, located in Week F (Week 6) of the SmartSource Insert, and Week Q (Week 17) of the RedPlum Insert.  After coupons, total is $3.98 for both boxes, BUT, you will received ExtraBucks worth $4 to use on your next visit, making these FREE.

Colgate Total Advanced Toothpaste– CVS is limiting you to one per card this week, but there are two coupons out there that you can use for this transaction, if you used one of these coupons in an earlier post of mine.  Sale price is $2.99.  Coupons are for $1.00, located in Week S (Week 19), SmartSource, and in Week J (Week 10) through http://www.coupons.com.

Revlon Nail Polish– Again, CVS is limiting you to one per card, (one per household), but if you happen to have two cards in your household,  you can get TWO OF THESE and I won’t tell anyone.  🙂  The sale price is $3.99.  The two $1.00 coupons are located in Week Q (Week 17), and Week T (Week 20).  Your total will be $2.99 each, but you’ll get $3.00 in ExtraBucks for each jar.  Woo hoo!

Playtex Tampons– These are FREE this week if you subscribe to the “All You” Magazine.  You can subscribe for a low rate, or pick up the mag at WalMart for $2 or $3 bucks I think.   Anyhow, the sale price is $3.99, and the Coupon is on page 11 for $1.00.  You’ll pay $2.99, but you’ll get $3.00 in ExtraBucks to use on your next purchase, making them FREE.

Speed Stick Deoderant– CVS is limiting these to TWO per household, so grab them while you can!  Sale price is $3.99, which is what you’ll pay (no coupons for these).  However, CVS is giving you $3.99 back in ExtraBucks for your next purchase, making these FREE.

Want to learn how to rock and roll with CVS every week?  I fill you in on the secret in my EBook, which can be purchased for the SUPER low price of $9.97 at www.shopsensibly.com

Albertson’s / Kroger – 10 for $10.00 Promotion

Okay…I know that my blog was designed for free deals…but on occasion, I like to talk about the “almost free” deals, as well.  This is one of those entries, as this is the time that I REALLY stock up on some of the things I need for my pantry, and felt that you needed to know about it.  This entry might take you a little bit of work, but it took me a bit of work to write it….

You can get these items at a GREAT deal if you use a coupon ON TOP OF the current sale.  This is what I call “CouponStacking”–(thus the blog name).  Okay..here we go.  The number in front is the # of coupons available.

(2)  Suddenly Salad, by Betty Crocker.  Coupon for $0.40 in Week R (Week 18), of http://www.coupons.com.  Also a $0.40 coupon can be printed at http://www.bettycrocker.com.

(3)   Rich & Creamy Frosting, by Betty Crocker.  Coupon for $0.55 in Week O (Week 15) of http://www.coupons.com Another coupon can be found at http://www.bettycrocker.com.  One more can be found in Week N (Week 14) of the SmartSource Insert.

Valley Fresh Steamers, by Green Giant.  These actually taste really fresh.  Get a $0.50 coupon at http://www.greengiant.com. (If you have a few different computers, you can print one from each IP Address.  If you have an aircard, each time you unplug and plug it back in, it bounces off a different satellite, thus a different IP–just a tip.)

Green Giant Vegetables  No coupons, and not a great deal at $1.00 each…buy the off brand with your vege’s..most of the time the name brands are the ones who provide the off brands–just different packaging.

SuperMoist Cake Mix  and Fudge Brownie Mix by Better Crocker.  No coupons, but  they’re only a buck each.

Totino’s Pizza–couldn’t find a coupon, but they’re only a buck, and great for Friday evening late night pizza.

Hamburger Helper individual servings.  Couldn’t find a coupon, but good for kid’s lunches.

The General Mills promotion has a 2 for $3 promotion, and a 2 for $4 promotion as well, but these deals are the best of the bunch.  Happy Shopping!  ~CouponCathy

Walgreens – Free Skintimate Gel and Accucheck Diabetes Monitor

Made my weekly trip to Walgreen’s last night…yes, I’ve been slacking lately, and I apologize…

This week/month at Walgreen’s is “okay”, not like last month, which was a jackpot.   First and foremost, get your 100% rebate item this month, which is the One A Day Multivitamin Drink Mix, 2 Pack, and enter your receipt online.

It appears that Walgreen’s has hopped on the “Edge Shave Gel” and “Skintimate” bandwagon as well.

Skintimate Shave Gel:  Since you can get your Edge at CVS, get your Skintimate at Walgreens for $2.99.  You’ll get a Register Reward for $3 in return to use on your next visit.

Accucheck Compact Plus, Diabetes Monitor: Walgreens currently has these for $14.99, with a mail in rebate for $14.99, therefore it’s FREE.    All of you know how I feel about these, and I’m making my first trip to the American Diabetes Association next week.  I have a total of 10 to donate this time around…all of them I’ve gotten over the last several months for free.  I will keep you informed of where to get these–always for free– so you can donate them as well (and write the donation off on your taxes).

Mitchum Deoderant:  Walgreens has Mitchum for $2.99.  When you purchase, you’ll get a Register Reward for $2.00.  Use the coupon for Mitchum in Week L (Week 12) for $.075, and it will only cost you $.024 cents!!!

Don’t forget!!  At Walgreens, you can’t use a Register Reward to buy new items with a Register Reward.  (It won’t spit out the new ones.)  Only use your Register Rewards on other items that you need, or other items that you have coupons for.  (Unlike CVS).

Happy Shopping……….CouponCathy
