Coupons + Box Top Promotion at Albertsons = under $1.00

Okay…so this is NOT a freebie post, but it’s close!!  All of these deals are under $1.00 in this sale.  I spent $26.80 and saved a whopping $102.00 at Albertsons yesterday.  Anything with a Box Top attached to it is on SUPER, MEGA SALE, at Albertsons.  I’m assuming that Jewel and Albertson’s other chains has this going on as well, but check your store before gearing up.

In last Sunday’s paper, there was an insert by General Mills pushing their Box Top Promotion.  In addition, several schools are having a contest for prizes.  If you have your internet coupons from the last 3-4 weeks, you’ll have over 30 coupons to use in one, single transaction.  Here are locations for internet couponshttp://www.coupons.com, http://www.smartsource.com, http://www.bettycrocker.com,  http://www.boxtops4education.com,  http://www.clickmycoupon.com,   http://www.pillsbury.comand  www.cellfire.com.   In addition, last week, (Week F/Week 32), you’ll find at least one coupon on everything below!!!!.

Hey there…CVS has a few good deals this week!

Quaker Granola Bars for $.99, FREE Colgate & Dannon at Safeway!

I know some of you are sure glad that I’m FINALLY getting to the grocery store posts, right?  Well, here goes this great coupon stacking transaction!
Safeway (which is also Dominick’s and Von’s to some of you), has placed an insert in this past Sunday paper with Safeway store coupons.  You must buy $20 worth of groceries to get these deals after they scan your card, SO MAKE SURE THAT YOU DO NOT PRESENT ANY COUPONS TO THE CASHIER UNTIL THEY SUBTOTAL YOUR TRANSACTION.  Once they subtotal, then present the Safeway Insert Coupons…then give them your manufacturer’s coupons–in that order.   Most stores won’t be picky, but play it safe, and play it right, so they help you in the future!!

Colgate MaxWhite or MaxFresh – This is on sale for $0.99 each.  Coupon is in Week D (Week 30) of the RedPlum insert for $0.75.  Safeway doubles coupons up to $1.00, so this is FREE.
Dannon Danimals Crush Cups Yogurt – These are on sale for $0.50 each.  Coupon for $1.00 is located in Week D (Week 30) of the Redplum insert making these FREE–and putting $0.50 toward another product.  I only found the 4-packs in my store, which are on sale for $2.50, however.  Using the $1.00 brings them down to $1.50 for 4, which is still a great deal…but I couldn’t find the 6 oz “individuals” in my Safeway, (which makes it free), so let me know if you find them!!  My friend Shawn says they are out there!
So…to get to your $20, you need a few more deals…

Quaker Chewy Granola Bars – You can get one box of these for $0.99 with the Safeway paper coupon.  If you haven’t already used the coupon in Week Y of the Redplum Insert for $0.75 off 2 boxes, stack this.  They are on sale for $2.50/box.  So $3.50-$0.75=$2.75 for two boxes, which is still a deal.
Kellogg’s Pop Tarts- Use the Safeway Newspaper Coupon to get one box of these for $0.99.  If you followed my other post, you got these for FREE with the Kellogg’s, Keebler & Walgreen’s promo!!
Pillsbury Cookie Dough –  Safeway Newspaper Coupon is for $1.99.  Stack Internet Coupon in Week E (this week) at http://www.coupons.com for $0.55 off, and only pay $1.49.
Skippy Peanut Butter – Use the Safeway Newspaper Coupon for $1.49.
Chef Boyardee Canned Pasta- Use Safeway Newspaper Coupon, which is 4 cans for $3.00.  Stack coupon in Week E of the SmartSource Insert for $0.35 off 3 cans, (which will double to $0.70) bringing this to 4 cans for $2.30, which is $0.57 per can!
Dixie Paper Plates – With Safeway’s Newspaper Coupon, these are $2.99..stack coupon way back from Week S (Week 19) for $0.50…coupon will double up to $1.00, getting these for $1.99.
Mission Tortillas- Use the Safeway Newspaper Coupon for $0.99.  This is a great deal, and manufacturer’s coupons are pretty rare for these!

This should get you to your $20.00 minimum before your coupons….but if not, there are several other Newspaper Coupons to get you there.  Hopefully you enjoyed this coupon stacking this round!  Happy Stacking and Happy Shopping!  ~CouponCathy~ www.shopsensibly.com

FREE Kellogg’s, Keebler, and Walgreens Promotion!!

Okay folks…ready for this?
Kelloggs and Walgreens are having separate “Kellogg’s” promotions…but when you combine the deals, you get a boat load of Kellogg’s stuff for FREE.  In this past Sunday’s RedPlum Insert, there is a Back To School ad for Kellogg’s and Keebler—along with several coupons on the promo items.  When you purchase 10 Kellogg’s/Keebler Products in one transaction, there is a Mail-In Rebate for $10.00.  Walgreens is also having a sale on these products, and is offering a $5 Register Reward when you purchase $10.00 of these products.  Combining these two promotions can save YOU a ton of money, getting these all for FREE.   Remember, to be eligible for the Mail In Rebate, all products must be in one transaction, so here we go:

Raisin Bran – 2 boxes@$2.50 each.  Use coupon for $1.00 off two boxes in the Insert above.
Keebler Fudge Stripes – 2 packages@$2.00 each. Use coupon for $1.00 off two from the Insert above.
Rice Krispie Treats – 2 boxes@$2.00 each. Use coupon for $1.00 off two boxes from Insert above.
Nutri-Grain Bars – 2 boxes@$2.50 each. Use coupon for $1.00 off two boxes from Insert above.
Pop-Tarts – 2 boxes@$2.00 each. Use coupon for $1.00 two boxes from Insert above.

Here is the math:
Total for all products above is $22.00 + tax
Coupons from above                     -$5.00
Register Reward for cereal         -$2.00
Register Reward for rest              -$5.00
Mail In Rebate                               -$10.00
Your final price for all……..         $0.00+ tax.

Make sure that you follow the directions on the Mail In Rebate, then send it in!  Since you have to purchase all of the items in one transaction, there will be NO better opportunity to find these products this cheap…use your coupons…and the mail in rebate… isn’t coupon stacking fun?

I hope you enjoy this one as much as I did!!  ~CouponCathy~  www.shopsensibly.com

I almost forgot to mention that besides the back to school stuff that CVS has this week, they also have two other “notable” mentions…

Blink Tears (0.5 oz) – is on sale for $7.99.  It’s actually a moneymaker this week when you partner it with a coupon for $3.00 in this past Sunday’s paper–Redplum Insert, because you can use the coupon and still walk away with $7.99 in ExtraBucks!!

These sale items don’t expire..they are on sale at CVS until Saturday night, but you might want to pick them up before they are sold out.  Happy Shopping!  ~CouponCathy, www.shopsensibly.com.

CVS – FREE Back To School Supplies – Book Covers, Rulers, Scissors, Glue Sticks, Pencils, Compass, Protractor, Notebooks

I think CVS is just trying to lure us into their stores (which is working).  They’ve put so much on sale for free, that I have to drive to 3-4 different CVS stores just to find the FREE stuff in stock!   Here’s the FREE stuff this week, but good luck finding a store that has it in stock….these are FREE through Tuesday….

CVS or Caliber 1 Subject Notebook, 70-80 sheets  On sale for $0.99 cents each…pick up two of these, and you’ll get $1.98 back at the register in ExtraBucks.
Caliber Compass or Protractor– These are on sale for $1.50 each…since we have a limit of 2 per CVS Card, pick up one of each…you’ll get $3.00 back in ExtraBucks upon checkout.
CVS or Caliber Pens or Wooden Pencils– Each pack is marked down to $0.99.  We’re allowed 2 per CVS Card (household), so pick up a pack of each.  (With all the free pens over the last 3 weeks, if you can find the pencils, grab ’em.  I haven’t been able to find these at all.)  You’ll get $1.98 back in ExtraBucks on your receipt after checkout for next time.
CVS or Caliber Glue Stick or Sticky Notes– These are on sale for $0.99 each.  The sticky notes were free last week, so if you got them, grab the glue sticks this time around.  Limit of 2 per CVS Card/Household, and you’ll get $1.98 back at check out.
Caliber or It’s Academic Scissors– These are on sale for $2.99 each, and we’re permitted 2 pairs per household.  Some of the CVS Stores have them behind the counter, so if they aren’t on the rack, ask an associate.  You’ll get $5.98 back in ExtraBucks at the bottom of your receipt.
Caliber or It’s Academic Flexi Ruler– These are $0.99 each.  With the free rulers a week ago, I have about 4 of these already.  Get them if you need them, or donate them to a school near you.  You’ll get $1.98 back in ExtraBucks for your next visit.
Caliber or It’s Academic Stretchable Book Cover– Okay..so much for making book covers out of brown grocery bags (does anyone remember that?)  These are SO COOL.  They are washable and completely reusable and come in really cool designs and colors.  You’ll pay $0.99 each for them but you’ll get your $1.98 back in ExtraBucks.  We’re limited to 2, which is a bummer, so hopefully they’ll be on sale again soon!
2-Pocket Poly Portfolio-These are on sale for $0.49 each.  We’re allowed 2 of them, and you’ll get your $0.98 back in ExtraBucks…but if you can find them, and you’re in the Phoenix area, please post where you find them.  I looked at 3 different CVS stores, and no luck.

Good luck this week…it’s tough out there!  ~CouponCathy
